Indian celebrities have always been known for making good use of their popularity by involving in endorsements, real estate investments, investing in businesses and most importantly putting their money and reputation into social hangout zones like pubs, clubs and restaurants.

Here are list of bollywood celebrities who owned restaurants not only in India but in abroad too.

1. Jacqueline Fernandez


Jacqueline Fernandez is bringing celebrity glamour to her native Sri Lanka. The leggy beauty, who has starred in a number of Bollywood flicks, has joined the ranks of a number of B-Town celebs, including Shilpa Shetty Kundra and Govinda, who have entered the culinary space and opened restaurants. The Judwa 2 star’s first-ever restaurant recently opened its doors in Colombo’s newest 5-star hotel, Shangri-La Hotel. The Kaema Sutra restaurant will serve Sri Lankan cuisine.

2. Shilpa Shetty


The beautiful lady is not only the owner of a IPL team, the actress has recently launched an uber classic club in Mumbai named Royalty. In 2009 Shilpa Shetty and beau Raj Kundra bought a 33 per cent stake in the V8 Gourmet Group, a company that owned many Indian restaurants in the UK.

3. Chunkey Pandey


The quirky comedian of Bollywood laid hands in the food industry with Mumbai’s first all singles bar. Chunky Pandey owns a very famous restaurant called The Elbo Room in Mumbai. It offers Live BBQ with an exotic choice of dishes prepared right in front of you. But the real essence of this place is in its Okonomiyaki, a Japanese pancake that has chicken, seafood and veggies.

4. Bobby Deol


Bobby Deol turned entrepreneur when he jumped into the restaurant business and opened his first venture named Someplace Else. His restaurant / pub Someplace Else is situated in the heart of Mumbai, Andheri and has a lovely combination of Indo-Chinese food. He also owns another place named Suhana for Indian delicacies and Zion for Chinese food. We must say behind Bobby’s chocolate boy looks, there’s the brain of a smart businessman.

5. Arjun Rampal


Bollywood actor Arjun Rampal launched luxurious ‘Discotheques’ in 2009 at a five-star hotel in a posh area of New Delhi. The disco is named as LAP, which is a premium lounge-bar-restaurant and is a members-only club in Delhi. The tastefully designed interiors and absolutely amazing ambiance make it one of the most amazing places to hang out for every generation. Being a part of Hotel Samrat in Chanakyapuri, LAP is among the must-visit hangouts for disco lovers in Delhi and elsewhere.

6. Asha Bhosle


Asha’s is the melodious singer’s effort of providing authentic Indian food outside India. Located in places like Dubai, Muscat and UK, they serve the most tantalizing dishes and delicious cocktails.

7. Suneil Shetty


Apart from venturing into film production, Suneil Shetty also owns a chain of restaurants across the country. The actor established his restaurant business a decade ago and his club H2O is widely recognized and praised by celebrities and common man alike. Their Long Island Iced Teas are extremely popular.  He is the owner of the Mischief brand and continuing on the same theme, Suneil also owns Astro Mischief entertainment parlours, many restaurants and the Little Italy restaurant in Mumbai.
