9 TV Celebs Who Are Good Friends In Real-Life But Play Enemies On-Screen

Given how dramatic our T.V serials tend to be, watching your favourite jaani dushmans battle it out on reel must be fun, but we are sure it is heart-warming to see them cosy up to each other when the camera switches off. From taking endless selfies together to just chilling in each other’s company, here are eight celebs who don’t let their on-screen rivalry affect their personal equation.

1. Anita Hassanandani and Divyanka Tripathi

These two share a pretty intense equation in Yeh Hai Mohabattein. While Anita plays Karan Patel’s ex-wife on the show, Divyanka plays his current wife. But, none of that affects their off-screen times when they are hanging out with each other.

2. Shikha Singh and Mrunal Thakur

The drama was real between Shikha and Mrinal in Kumkum Bhagya! But, in the real world there is nothing but harmony between the two.

3. Surbhi Jyoti and Additi Gupta

One is all pure and pious and the other does kala jadoo on their T.V show Qubool Hai. But, there ain’t no bad juju between the two in reality. They are mostly busy taking silly, fun selfies in between shoots.

4. Ashwini Kalsekar and Pallavi Kulkarni

Even though, by the end of the show Itna Karo Na Mujhe Pyaar, things sort of got sorted between Pallavi and Ashwini’s characters, they played sisters-in-law at loggerheads for most part of the show. Off screen, the story was something else.

5. Asif Sheikh and Rohitansh Gaud

Though they have soft corner for ‘Bhabhiji’, Prabhuti and Tiwari can’t see eye to eye on-screen in &TV’s comic caper ‘Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hain!’. But as soon as camera stops rolling, these two rivals, played by Asif Sheikh and Rohitansh Tiwari turn into good friends. Like every good actors, these two also believe in team spirit and has no issues rehearsing before every final take. It seems that, taking inspiration from their on-screen characters, Asif and Rohitansh are simply following the rule of ‘Love Thy Neighbour’.

6. Vishal Aditya Singh and Sartaj Gill

In &TV’s ‘Begusarai’, Lakhan (Vishal) and Priyom (Sartaj) fought over the one girl they love most- Poonam. But in real life, Vishal Aditya Singh aka ‘Lakhan’ and dimpled boy Sartaj Gill aka ‘Priyom’ bond fabulously off-screen. There is no insecurity between the two debutant actors. During the breaks, the duo often spends time in each other’s vanity van. This proves that, what you see on screen is not always true!

7. Karan Patel and Sangram Singh

Sangram (Ashok) plays the role of Karan (Raman’s) boss who has an affair with Raman’s wife Shagun (Anita Hassanandani) and is also a business rival in the popular TV show ‘Ye Hai Mohabbatein’. They hate each other to an extent of killing each other on-screen but the same doesn’t apply off-screen. Karan and Sangram are pals off-screen and share a great rapport with each other. They are good friends and are spotted hanging out together on a lot of occasions.

8. Radhika Madan and Smriti Khanna

These two share the screen space on 'Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi' on Colors and are on-screen rivals. Radhika plays the character of Ishani, the lead of the show who tries really hard to maintain her relationship with everyone and Smriti plays the role of Ritika who is jealous of Ishani because the love of her life Ranveer loves Ishani and not her. But all of this doesn't hold true at all off-screen. The two are really close friends off-screen who hang out together after the shoots, go out partying and share a close bond.

9. Barun Sobti and Abhaas Mehta

They have been a part of 'Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon'. Abhaas played the negative role of Shyam who used to eye on every woman despite being married. Barun played the role of Arnav whose sister was married to Shyam. He knew Shyam's reality and hated him. They both hated each other too much that wouldn't even look into each other's eyes. But the scene is totally opposite off-screen. The boys are best buddies off-screen and have been seeing partying, playing video games and having a gala time when not shooting. They share a close bond with each other and are like brothers.
